Restaurant opened in June of 1999, serving traditional Mexican food. (This
will be their 4th restaurant in 6 years. The three previous ones were in
Florida are now sold.) Since their opening the restaurant has received
several outstanding reviews in the areas local newspapers. Los Molcajetes
pronounced “los mole-ka-het-tayes” is located in a strip mall off Beach St.
at 4320 Western Center Blvd. in Ft. Worth, Texas. With a warm décor’ you
feel welcome immediately. The music gets you in the mood for… Margaritas…you
will feel like you are on the beach lounging in Mexico. When you are seated
warmed tortilla chips are brought to your table with either a red or a green
salsa topped with onions and cilantro. Watch out for that green one! Fajitas
are our specialty, with beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp to choose from it
will be hard to pick your favorite! To finish off your great meal, choose
from a variety of desserts. Our fried ice cream is the best, and the
sapodillas come with a generous helping of Carmel and whipped topping. For
an original ending ask for the flan, a creamy custard that absolutely melts
in your mouth. |
